“Lovertits” by Feist with Gonzales (Peaches cover)

Because of her recent iPod-bred success, many new Feist fans don’t know that her latest album, The Reminder, is actually her third album, fourth if you include Open Season, a remix album. Actually, you can’t completely blame the new Feist fans. The Recording Academy, those idiots who run the Grammy’s nominated the chanteuse for Best New Artist, even though her second album, Let it Die, was also released on a major label.

This cover of Peaches’ “Lovertits” is off of Feist’s excellent remix album.

Quotable (Peaches, on the word “Fatherfucker”)

Why do we call our mothers motherfuckers? Why do we stub our toe and say, “Aww motherfucker!”? What is a motherfucker? … We use it in our everyday language, and it’s such an insanely intense word. I’m not one to shy away from these obscene terms that we actually have in our mainstream. Motherfucker is a very mainstream word. But if we’re going to use motherfucker, why don’t we use fatherfucker? I’m just trying to be even.
